As a Strategic Projects Fellow at the Airbel Impact Lab, the IRC’s Research and Innovation unit, I supported the Strategy & Delivery team in advancing departmental priorities while identifying opportunities to enhance cross-functional collaboration and synergy across Airbel teams and the broader IRC. My work focused on leveraging AI to improve knowledge management and workflow automation, streamlining day-to-day operations and enabling data-driven decision-making. I contributed to impactful initiatives in close collaboration with senior leadership, gaining exposure to cutting-edge solutions for global challenges and insights into the internal workings of a leading humanitarian organization. This experience combined strategy, innovation, and operational execution to drive meaningful organizational impact.

Innovation & Design Fellow at International Rescue Committee

As an Innovation & Design Fellow within the IRC’s Research & Innovation unit, I supported the Human-Centered Design team in testing and implementing solutions selected through a crowdsourcing competition to address humanitarian challenges. These solutions were prototyped in real-world or analogous settings to evaluate deployment and user experience. My responsibilities included coordinating logistics and communications for prototyping activities, developing prototyping plans, and strategizing for future large-scale roll-outs and partnerships. I also collaborated with the Airbel Sexual and Reproductive, Maternal, and Neonatal Health designer to create a user-friendly implementation guide for program designers, drawing from past pilot projects and expert feedback to inform effective program design.
